Paghat the Ratgirl

   

   

This simple artcard consists of three stamps: 1) a memoral artistamp for Emily issued in 1991 which was reproduced in a local newspaper & which I cut out & saved, but no longer know who designed it; 2) a real stamp comemorating Robert Burns & featuring a wee sleeket coweran beastie; & 3) an artistamp by Keys comemorating, ta-da!, Paghat the Ratgirl. Keys obviously kept pet ratties, as the "Rrrrrr-rrrrrr" sound the ratty is making is called "bruxing" & is a sound they make with their teeth when they are content, the ratty equivalent of purring.
