Journalist, author of a book of Asian myths, and radio broadcaster Chico Garcia has many pets including a chihuahua, Nairobi. She's shown with another of the pack, Cairo, a Yorkie toward whom Nairobi, aka "Nai Nai," has exhibited (according to Chico) "lesbionic" tendencies. Whenever Chico has to be away from Nairobi and Cairo any length of time, they cry and howl every night, though ordinarily they're very quiet dogs (never yappy).
