A serious car wreck on Interstate 70 in Washington County, Ohio, 24 June 2010, completely crunched and totalled the vehicle. The car was run right over by a tractor trailer. Driver Elizabeth Romito, 51, was helicoptered to Allegheny General Hospital with serious injuries.

In the vehicle were two fat aged chihuahuas. Although the car was so mangled it no longer looked like a car, and the dogs had not been secured in any way, they miraculously came through the accident without even the slightest injuries.

The photos were taken of the dogs still sitting in the seats of the totalled vehicle. It somehow never occurred to them to get out of the car at any time, as they waited patiently and obediently for their owner's return.
