In December of 2009 in Clarksville, Tennessee, the Lopez family's garage caught fire in the early morning. The fire quickly spread to the house, where it would all too soon leave every room damaged.

Six pound chihuahua Mamacita leapt into action. "The family pet saved everbody's life," said Fire Marshall Ray Williams. Mamacita began barking up a storm at five a.m. After calling 911, the Lopezes had just enough time to grab family photos and get themselves to safety.
