Stage Fright

Stage Fright (1997) directed by Steve Box is an eleven-minute claymation film set in the early part of the previous century in days when the Music Halls were losing their audiences to the cinema.

Tiny is a vaudeville dog-juggler but his act is threatened when a silent film star, Lonesome Arnold, steals Tiny's chihuahuas for silent movies and early talkies.

Rather eerie animation, it's really quite an amazing work of filmic art from the same jpeople who gave us Rex the Runt (1998) and the characters of severalWallace and Grommit cartoons (the first one in 1989), the climax of Stage Frighthas the chihuahuas unite against evil.
