The combrously titled How to Lose Friends and Alienate People (2008), directed by Robert B. Weide, is loosely based on the autobiography of Toby Young. It is a tepid slapstick comedy about an unlikeable guy, starring Simon Pegg whose character very nearly does a terrible, terrible thing to a Megan Fox's chihuahua.
